Welcome!
Welcome, one and all, to my little shop of horrific speculative fiction. Okay, okay...so I'm exaggerating. It's only moderately bad. At least, that's from my own point of view. But then, I consider virtually everything that churns out of my word processor to be unutterable trash.
On the bright side...you might not agree with me. I'll post updates on my work (and perhaps segments or previews of it on a semi-regular basis). That is, of course, when I'm not studying or working (since I do both full-time).
As for a short biography, there's not much to tell. While I've been writing fiction since the fourth grade (my first story was inspired by the Hardy Boys...no you cannot read it) I only began writing to publish seven years ago. Now, just to clarify that a bit...I have not been submitting for seven years. Oh, heavens no. I'm far too cowardly for that. But the few pieces I have submitted have been quite encouraging (albeit decidedly rejected). For example, one of my first 'complete' short stories made it to the quarter-finalist stage of the infamous Writers of the Future contest.
But why am I sitting here writing a biography of doubtful wit and charm when I should be BIC (Butt-In-Chair), working on a submission? Because I care about you, my ever-loyal quasi-fans. Perhaps that's too ambitious. Does 'fans-to-be' sound better? Perhaps you'll qualify as fans once I've gotten around to getting published.
Okay, okay...I'm on it. Geez. Readers are so pushy these days.
